In Real Time: Successful Synchronous Online Teaching

Online teaching brings many challenges and opportunities. Courses with synchronous components (instructor and student present together virtually at the same time) may seem like face-to-face courses simply transferred to the computer screen, but making the most of this format requires intentionality and willingness to try new things. In this session, a panel of recognized excellent online faculty will share their approaches to synchronous online teaching, exploring what works, what doesn’t, and why.
